Vehicles in the Battlefield series play a very important role and change the way the battle plays out.  Team must make use of vehicles in order to secure vehicles.  Seeing a helicopter overhead always plays fear in a soldier's mind as does a tank rolling by outside your window.

Battlefield includes the following vehicles.  Don't worry, we'll have more details soon, but for now, take a look at the basic rundown:

LIGHT TANK - Used for run and hit assaults.  Great for taking down infantry and opening up passageways.

HEAVY TANK - Perfect for tanking down any ground vehicle and light tanks.  Slower than the light tank, but can deal out much more damage, making it the ultimate attack support vehicle for troops.

HUMMER - Perfect for transporting troops from one location to the other.  Can also provide defensive support as well with the gunner in position.

HELICOPTER - One of the most powerful vehicles if used correctly.  Can easily attack a target, evade, and repeat attack.  Will get best results when a gunner accompanies the pilot, as this deals double the damage and the gunner acts as a defense and guide for the pilot.

ARTILLERY - Usually stationary, this weapon is perfect for keeping enemies at bay and for taking out enemy vehicles (such as heavy tanks) in one swift blow.  Slower vehicles are usually the most vulnerable to attack as well as large groups of infantry.
