Ascension is a very dirty, gritty map taking place in an overcast setting. The map consists of many indoor areas and plenty of alleyways, roads, and side areas to get around. It's great for ambushing enemies in multiple directions and, in Gold Rush mode, defensive players will gain an advantage at their main base which is surrounded by walls that cannot be penetrated.
Oasis is a wide open map set in the dessert. It is a very popular map, full of vehicles inclduing light tanks, heavy tanks, hummers, buggies, and, yes, even helicopters. The map is very large consisting of both close-quarters combat and wide open areas. Perfect for both snipers and assault classes. In order to win, teams will have to make use of everything: vehicles, short and long range combat, as well as explosives and different classes.
