I have had this thought for a long time and I want to know what you all think of it.

I would like to play a game that has the feel of Call of Duty 4, the intense action, story, and the guns! But I want it to have that open feeling of GTA4 and Oblivion, where you don't have to do the missions if you don't want to, you could just run around exploring. Another thing that would be cool would be having a leveling system where if you have a specific weapon that you use, you would be an expert with that weapon. And finally I want this all to be multiplayer all the time, and no loading screens. (In-Game) If you have friends in a city and they need your help, you could be in a forest half way across the world and you would have to find someway to get there quickly to help them.

So what do you guys think?

1. could nbe good but...
it could work but  
make it a team game set in iraq you could have the UN with their main depot as the safehouse and insurgists with other smaller safehouses dotted around so they would have a better hand the further the Un people go from their base this could be set in a major city and as you acheive rank you could acess new equipment from the staff seargent to the extent of tanks.  
 
with the insurgent people you would upgrade in infamy and weapons your vehicles would be converted utes but they are easier to get and can be hidden among others. 
 
sorry to kinda redesign your idea i do that.

2. great idea
A game like that would be addicting. There could be a safe house where you could store all of your weapons. There is so much that could be done with a game like that.

3. Awesome idea.
I think this is one of the best ideas I've heard in a while...I would LOVE this game if it was real! I like the idea of it being multiplayer all the time too simply because multiplayer is one of the biggest parts of gaming now. But I have to admit a single player storyline would be nice as well just in case someone isn't in the mood for online.  
 
I really like your idea though and I wish someone would actually develop this!
