imagine quite simply the masterful enterprise that is the warhammer table top game games workshop have took this fledgling idea and turn it into the biggest table top game ever now think of chromehounds
what im suggesting as my first (and most probaly last) game idea is that they get together and make a table top gme of the hit computer game the bsic design would be that you got a starter pack with 3 basic hounds in them (posiibly sniper commander and soilder) with others availible in other packs the main base would be the chassis which would not be adjustable however the cockpit weapons and such could be in they used a a clip on system or other design this would allow for hounds to be aselmbled deconstucted and edited with ease as you buy more weapons and develop better skills in commanding you squad.
then theres the whole vs thing itd hard to do but i reckon it could work youd have a map the size of a basic ping pong table (if the hounds stand 15cm tall) and could have varied enviroments eg urban desert forest of snow you would have the combasses still and would only be able to command people still in combas range for example you sedn a scout to capture a combas and it does however the new combs still doent touch the exsisting one that scout wouldnt be able to receive your orders and woud have to follow a basic set of rules (eg attack enemy on site and uses up your attack phase)
i think it could work and id definetly play it im not sure about other people but when you look at the popularity of warhammer im guessing taht it would be fairly successful
