Setting: I think it's time that Call of Duty 5 took a step in a whole new direction: the future! Now I know that many people like the realism that Call of Duty brings, but with the way Infinity details the game, they can make the game look and feel as real as possible no matter the setting. So why not aim for the future?
Guns: Weapons would use special heated bullets, but can be upgraded to include magnetic discharge mechanics making the weapon completely silent (replaces the silencer.) Sights would be pretty standard (similar to red dot scope) and light machine guns would be extremely useful in laying down support fire. Their only drawback would be their tracer fire because firing heated bullets at that rate (over 3,000 rounds a minute!) makes a streak that looks similar to a laser.
Environments: Environments should be heavily destructible and can only destructible by light machine guns and certain armor piercing explosives. That way, cover would still be kept to a maximum to keep strategic elements of the game.
