good thinking primo, And I can answer your question robby! why so rare. initially they're was about 74 of them i think, but once they did project spartan*enhanced them medically* only 33 were to live on as spartans, at least 12 others could not fight any more, one of them chiefs friend. slowly they were picked off, until one last major mission to save a planet, they separated 2 came with chief the rest went with kelly*his friend* one got thown into space by a explosion and was lost, other one brutally killed, they failed to destroy information which would of saved the other spartans, and the

I think that this is an awesome idea. It reminds me of The Orange Box. But to be honest, I don't think it will happen. The sales people will be saying that they would be able to scam us out of more money by selling the games individually.
Actually, I would like to play a Halo game with a different perspective. It would be cool to see a prequel, with more Spartans and explain why Master Chief is so rare.
