1. Interesting idea...
This is definitely an interesting idea, but they would have to be EXTRA careful to make sure everything remains balanced.
I have to admit that I do like Gears of War's multiplayer just as it is, so changing it THAT much might not make too many fans happy like me since we like the original so much. But making small adjustments or adding some of those ideas really wouldn't hurt.
